NIOS to conduct class 10th and 12th exams in April-May
The NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) will conduct the board exams of class 10th and 12th in the month of April-May. The exams will commence on April 2, 2019 and will conclude on May 4, 2019. The practical exams for the same will commence from March 16, 2019. The admit cards for the upcoming exams will be released by the NIOS on its official website at nios.ac.in. "The result of the examination is likely to be declared in 6 weeks after the last date of the examination. No inquiries about the actual date of declaration of result will be entertained. A copy of the relevant portion of the result will be communicated to the Accredited Institutions immediately after the declaration of results and will also be available on NIOS website nios.ac.in," said the NIOS. The practical exams for the overseas candidates will commence from April 21, 2019 and will end on April 30, 2019. The written exams, however, will commence on the same date as for the other candidates i.e. April 2, 2019. "Since practical examinations are being conducted in small batches, students / candidate are advised to contact the Centre Superintendent/ Coordinator of the Accredited Institutes well in advance of the commencement of the practical exam to know specified dates as well as batch allotted to them," the NIOS said in an official notification.
