NTA to conduct JNUEE 2019 exam; Registrations will commence from tomorrow
For the first time, Jawaharlal Nehru University will be conducting its entrance exam online. The exam is scheduled to be held in May and registration process for the same will commence from March 15, 2019. The entrance exam will be a traditional objective type (MCQ based) exam. The registration process for the JNU entrance exam 2019-20 will be completely online and National Testing Agency will release the e-prospectus regarding the same. Registration window will remain open until April 15, 2019 and candidates will be given a brief window of 2 days i.e. from April 17 to April 19 to make corrections in the application form. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held from May 27 to May 30 and admit cards for the same will be made available to the candidates in due time on the official website of the university. This year, the university will take a total of 3,383 in all of its programs of which 1,043 will be for the M.Phil and Ph.D. courses. “JNU would be adopting digitalization in its entrance examination process in line with major academic institutions and central universities such as IIT, BHU, Delhi University, Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET),” the officials said. “In order to increase its outreach among the student fraternity, JNU entrance examination would be conducted in 127 cities across India, which is a two-and-a-half fold increase from past years' number of cities,” the officials added.
